To study 6G wireless technologies for the telecom industry and supply chains, the Bharat 6G Alliance and Next G Alliance have signed a partnership agreement.

ATIS and the Bharat 6G Alliance recognise that, as stated in a joint statement from the US and India, the two nations share a vision for building secure and reliable telecommunications, robust supply chains, and enabling global digital inclusion.

The Next G Alliance and the Bharat 6G Alliance, both of which are affiliated with the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), made the announcement that they had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to look into possible partnership options for 6G wireless technology on September 9. According to the announcement, the work will entail developing secure and dependable telecommunications systems as well as resilient supply chains, as well as coordinating research and development priorities to achieve a shared 6G vision.

The Next G Alliance was established by the ATIS with the goal of advancing North American wireless technology leadership over the following ten years through activities driven by the private sector and with an initial focus on 6G.

The foundation for North American leadership in 6G and beyond is being built through the activities of its working groups on applications, green G, the national 6G roadmap, societal and economic demands, spectrum, and technology.

The Indian business, academia, national research organisations, and standards organisations have joined forces to form the Bharat 6G Alliance. The goal is to design, develop, and implement technologies and innovations that offer a smart and secure solution for high-quality living for citizens in India and around the world. This goal is in line with the Bharat 6G Mission

The Bharat 6G Alliance seeks to advance the ecosystem for, among other things, telecom product and solution research, design, development, IPR creation, field testing, security, certification, and manufacturing. ATIS President and CEO Susan Miller and Bharat 6G Alliance Chair N. G. Subramaniam signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations.

ATIS President and CEO Susan Miller remarked, "Defining what it takes to deliver next generation wireless leadership is an enormous project. "ATIS has engaged into collaboration agreements with the 5G Forum in Korea, the Beyond 5G Promotion Consortium in Japan, and the 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association (6G-IA) in Europe.

The Bharat 6G Alliance deal, according to Miller, is "a critical link in advancing both organisations' objectives in the development of the global 6G mobile wireless ecosystem."

ATIS and the Bharat 6G Alliance recognise that, as stated in a joint statement from the US and India, the two nations share a vision for building secure and reliable telecommunications, robust supply chains, and enabling global digital inclusion. Both nations support an ambitious vision for 6G networks, which includes standardisation collaboration and a commitment to work together to advance 6G technology research and development.

The next generation, 6G, will substantially improve the standard of living on Earth. India has a vision for the empowerment of society as a whole with sustainability at its centre. Focused, transparent, and cooperative international research would be required for this, along with the allocation of funds to support the development of products that adhere to high national, regional, and international standards. This path has been advanced through the MoU with Next G Alliance. the Bharat 6G Alliance's chair, N. G. Subramaniam, said.
