According to PM Modi, the relationship between India and Saudi Arabia is vital for world peace and regional security.

The alliance between India and Saudi Arabia, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is essential for the peace, prosperity, and security of the region and the entire globe.

In response to the changing times, we are giving our relationships a new dimension, Prime Minister Modi remarked during the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council meeting. Saudi Arabia is one of India's most significant strategic allies.

In order to advance our strong relationship, we have identified a number of activities. For India, Saudi Arabia is crucial. At a meeting with Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Hyderabad House, Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness once more for his role in the success of the G20 Summit.

The Saudi Crown Prince flew into Delhi on Friday for a three-day trip and stayed behind for a state visit following the G20 Summit.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, declared, "There has never been any quarrel in the history of our relationship (between Saudi Arabia and India), but there is cooperation to develop the future of our nation and generate chances. Working on potential future opportunities today.

"I congratulate you on the management of the G-20 Summit and the initiatives achieved, including the Economic Corridor connecting the Middle East, India, and Europe, which requires that we work diligently to create it into reality," he continued.

"Transforming India-Saudi Arabia ties!" the Ministry of External Affairs tweeted in the meantime. PM Modi met privately with HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince and prime minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two presidents went over the many aspects of their relations and talked about how to maximise the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and India.

The MEA stated that the agenda covered a wide range of topics for bilateral cooperation, including energy security, commerce and investment, military and security, healthcare, food security, cultural issues, and community welfare concerns.

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Monday attended a formal reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the nation's capital earlier in the day. Throughout the occasion, he also spoke with other ministers and President Droupadi Murmu.

At the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the Saudi Arabian PM will meet President Droupadi Murmu at 6:30 p.m. Then, according to ANI reports, he will leave New Delhi at 8.30 pm.

One of India's key Middle Eastern partners, Saudi Arabia plays a significant role in the region. The bilateral ties between these two countries have steadily and noticeably improved in recent years.

The bilateral relations were significantly boosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trips to Saudi Arabia, first in 2016 and then again in 2019, as well as by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's trip to India in the same year.

Increasing their defence and security cooperation has been a priority for both nations.

The first-ever trip to Saudi Arabia by the commander of the 1.3 million-strong Indian Army was undertaken in December 2020 by General MM Naravane, who was serving as the Chief of Army Staff at the time. Senior military leaders from both sides have since visited numerous times.
